On October 24, 1998, "Bubba", the sky crane airlifted four massive towers that replaced the original towers removed in the late 1940s. The towers are constructed of steel and aluminum, weigh approximately 18,000 pounds, and each required two lifts. The entire job was accomplished in five working hours.
