Other CFC Restoration Projects

CFC has demonstrated that older structures can be restored in a manner that preserves the past while enhancing the character of the community. Below are some of the restoration projects Cook has undertaken in downtown Bloomington, Indiana.

Cook Group Incorporated's offices are located in the James Cochran House, built in 1850 and restored in 1976.

The former Illinois Central Freight Depot, built in 1906, was restored by CFC, Inc. in 1983. It is now the home to Fountain Fabrics.

Comprising what was once the entire south side of the Bloomington Courthouse Square, Fountain Square Mall has been restored with strictest attention paid to historical detail. The project was completed in 1989.

In 1979 CFC began renovation of the Graham Hotel, located on the Bloomington square. The eight-story building, vacant for seven years, is now Graham Plaza, a successful office complex.
