Cook Pharmica LLC Signs First Client
Bloomington, Ind. - Cook Pharmica, the contract biopharmaceutical manufacturing division of Cook Medical, announced today that it has signed an agreement with its first client, Monsanto Company, to perform small-scale manufacturing of bacterial-produced proteins in support of safety assessments of biotechnology-based crops. Manufacturing activities will be performed in Cook Pharmica's development laboratory within its Bloomington, Ind. facility.

Terms of the agreement were not released.
