Cook Inc. Names Connie Jackson Vice President, Human Resources

Bloomington, Ind. - Connie Jackson, a 27-year veteran of the Cook organization, has been named vice president, human resources for Cook Inc., effective immediately. Cook Inc. President Kem Hawkins made the announcement Monday before a select group of top Cook executives and managers with Jackson in attendance.

"It is with great pride and pleasure that I announce the promotion of Connie Jackson," Hawkins said. "Under her leadership, the human resources department here has flourished and grown from a staff of two to nine. Most importantly, our entire organization has looked to Connie for support and tireless efforts in recruiting and hiring our ever-expanding workforce."

Jackson started her career with Cook in 1978 as a receptionist and eventually assumed the role of supervisor for the company's payroll and insurance departments. In 1988, she become personnel advisor and worked one-on-one with many Cook employees to help them resolve various issues and concerns. In 1996, she was named manager of the human resources department for Cook Inc.

"My years of working in the human resources area at Cook Incorporated have been a rewarding experience, and I look forward to the continuing achievements of growth and success," Jackson said of her new responsibilities upon learning of her promotion.
