Java Developer. The Java Developer will create complex web sites and web applications using various Java technologies and provide consultation to other developers on complex projects. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other closely-related technical field and three (3) years of progressive experience in the job offered or in software engineering is required. A Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of progressive experience in software engineering will be accepted in lieu of the Master's degree and the three (3) years of experience requirement. Education and/or experience must include cross-platform J2EE deployment and portability issues; Java; Tomcat; Weblogic; Apache; JSP; JDBC; JNDI; JavaScript; UML; XML; Oracle; EJB; Servlets; Hibernate; Struts; JUnit; log4j; and Linux.
